Tonight is one of those nights where there is actual effort involved in keeping the salty drains from seeping out. The problem is, I couldn't even explain to you what is currently bothering me. I think I have just lived in this darkness for so long now that to experience different would be foreign.
I miss her. That's always present. The front of my chest is open and gaping, always burning, that's her spot. She was the best part of me. She left this world way too soon. And with her, left my "home". She was my place to be.
25 years have come and gone. 25 years is enough time for a lifetime to be lived. Mostly I demanded seclusion to endure the excruciating stabs which can only be described as a miniature samurai warrior on a crack binge released to unleash his destruction inside my flesh. When the date and come and gone the count now changes directions. 25 years and a day. 25 years and 2 days. 25 years and 3 days....and so it continues.....
